Unfortunately my favourite one is now out of stock at Lomo.

https://www.lomo.co.uk/cgi-bin/sh000088.pl?WD=case%20phone&PN=bike%2dphone%2dmount%2ehtml#SID=119

It's important that it's detachable so I can conveniently carry it inside shops when picking up deliveroo orders, and waterproof because I intend to work in the worst weather on earth!

Recommendations very welcome really I wouldn't want to spend more than £25.

Try this. Overboard stuff is very good. Bit pricier than you were looking for tho.

This looks very similar to the Lomo one:

(The big problem with these vinyl cases is screen glare in daylight. Maybe not a problem this time of year though)

Bit dearer than I'd like but I've bought the thing since it looks the business and there're only a few left.

I rely on my smartphone for much of my life so seems a false economy to sweat it over budget.

I used a topeak dry bag one for several years, secure, no leaks and easy to get on and off (https://www.topeak.com/global/en/products/ridecase). Screen worked fine through the plastic with a firm enough touch. I've now got a waterproof phone so have switched to quadlock.
