That’s a bit extreme for Valentine’s isn’t it? Are you on a promise or sumfing??

I, on the other hand, have a pass for Wednesday. Thursday may be possible, if requiring a little later departure.

Thursday also has the benefit of a better weather forecast...next two afternoons/evenings are looking a bit iffy. What's the consensus?

Given that a number of people have said they cannot make Wednesday, and the forecast has not improved from a rather damp outlook, I would say move it to the Thursday.

I probably cannot make the Thursday as I have a fortnightly meeting to attend, although I'm not 100% sure I'll be going to that yet.

Ok thanks. If it's ok I'll hold off on making a decision until tomorrow. At the moment there is a band of rain that is forecast to liberally shed its load on Wednesday evening. If things improve and at least the outward leg is not going to soak me, then that sounds good.

I have an offsite on Thursday that may leave me in Chelmsford at approximately the correct time.

I think it's organised by the Transport Museum - tour of old tunnels that used to connect different lines before the Northern Lines were merged or somesuch.

Well, here is a Witham Peloton route offering, if there is to be a peloton leaving Witham this evening.

If we leave at the usual 7:30 departure time I would think we'll be locking up bikes at about 8:30.

I might well be along, but I'm going to be late starting, so I'm probably heavily train-assisted.
