Title: [HAMR] 13th July - Teethgrinder day 194

Before 9am start, about 30 miles by 11am. Wonder how long it'll be today?

I waited and intecepted Steve just after 6.30pm - it's been so overcast that he was already running lights.

I rode and chatted with him for a mile or so. He said he's had a tough week - tired legs and no chance of proper rest. He's feeling better after the shorter day yesterday, but frustrated at not being able to up his pace.

He still sounds confident. He's still recovering from the crash and he thinks Kurt is losing form - "I could still overtake him!" (TG)

He could be right.  Kurt hasn't started yet today.   ???
