Swedish 1500km 21-25 July 2018

Now it's official: 21-25 July 2018, we aim to arrange our longest letter ever: a 150-mile [this is 1500km - Matt] randonné from Uppsala across Dalarna, mountain values ​​and Røros all the way to Trondheim and back.

The trip is a letter sanctioned by Randonneurs Mondiaux and can be done at any pace (max 125h), but with a quiet audio rate it will be around 30miles a day and four evenings in even distances in Sweden and Norway.

ooops - I forgot to add that these Swedish "miles" are indeed 10km long. [of course you all knew that, didn't you??]

It's only about 8-8500 meters of climbing on the ride, and short nights in July,only about 5-6 hours.

This sounds very interesting, especially as my daughter is moving the Sweden this coming weekend but I won't be fit enough I suspect.

Not for me, but it goes through Dalarna, a beautiful region of Sweden. Postcard territory of Falun-red houses and maybe stave churches in Norway.

There could well be weather, but it's normally dry. Enjoy!
