When I spoke to him a few weeks ago he was looking to do the 400 helpers ride the following week
...which, quite frankly, I had a hard time digesting [he can't be serious, surely?] - mainly because he was pedaling solely with one leg and averaging about 30 miles a day.
He was philosophical then about his chances, and didn't seem at all worried if he could or couldn't manage it. His attitude [grinning] was, "if I can get up to 10 miles an hour, it would be good to do, wouldn't it!"
