Non slip outdoor tiles
« on: 08 July, 2018, 11:10:47 am »
At the top of the stairs outside ours & neighbours flat is a platform currently covered in tiles, which are cracking and falling off.
These are a bit of a death trap in wet and cold weather so I'd like to replace them with something really non slip, but which won't hold too much water so it freezes less in winter.
I don't particularly care what they look like.
I know I can find tiles which allege they are non-slip but thought I would see what the collective experience of the forum had to say...?
Do not clench. It only makes it worse.

Look for quarry tiles (brick red colo(u)r) with raised diamond pattern on them, or some of the ones made for front edge of steps with a series of cross-wise grooves.
