Yeah my mum had many fabric type tool things, I was thinking it might be something to do with fabric (I did try a fabric tools google search earlier) - it's got a kind of flowery design on the handles if you look  - not the sign of a manly proper-tool.  ;)


[edit] hmmm those hole shapes look veeerrrry familiar too - I expect I have lost memories now of using it do punch holes in paper and such...
It's a reverse Elvis thing.

Thank you. I might well do that. And you're right, I don't think they are meaty enough for doing anything with metal.
If you visit them, you'll be glad you did.
It's an Alladin's cave - rare to be found these days.
It goes without saying that I'd endorse  a visit.

I was able to apply this definitiveness as I had a stapleless stapler which looked completely different but produced the same results.
