Never mind "primary". If it gets down to one lane passing then its put the bike all over the lane in a zig-zag to stop them even thinking of trying to squeeze past. Eye contact made, if they get closer I will slow it down to a crawl, stop, turn the bike round and shout at the fecking ejits. When it's that tight trying to pass is a threat to life and I will make a scene and fuck them about.
Taking primary and giving a cheery "thank you" wave after the narrow bit would make life expectancy for all of us a little longer. Getting angry and personalising doesn't do anyone any good, however tempting it is sometimes!
Most of the time I am polite.
But sucking my wheel and trying to wriggle past in a car when it's down to one coned off narrow lane is not on.
I am sure we have all experienced it when the berk in a corsa gets six inches from your wheel and starts slewing back and forth looking for an opening - that's not on and it has to be challenged.
