Front canti arm will not come off the stud. It rotates OK, but I can't remove it.
I've tried penetrating oil, heat & brute force. Any other suggestions ?

Small / very small screwdriver between the arm and the plate that the spring goes through. Then a little leverage. BUT wiggle a lot as the stud may have a groove worn in it, that is holding the arm in place.

Remove the bolts, reassemble the brake, load the bike up and start pushing it up a steep hill in badger country...

Bloody Big Adjustable Spanner did the trick! Used as a lever.
