That'll teach me.

Umm...

I can see in my cd collection 2 british bands that have been named after road signs. Guess who they are.
There's no vibrations, but wait.

Probably not in your collection, but I used to go to the Crest Motel in Derby as a youth to drink Worthington E  and listen to the music of No Right Turn.

Merton Park(ers)

nah he said road signs not place names. He could have Wham! if it was place names or Fleetwood Mac or Billy Preston or Johnny Bristol  or Ryan Paris

Fulborn Teversham (you mentioned them in Tune Association this morning), named after Fulbourn & Teversham in Cambridgeshire.  There must be a sign with them both on.

So I guess that's back to PaulF for getting the first one...

Correct!

tbh, I thought it such an unusual name (and I still don't understand the link) that I'd looked them up on Wikipedia. No page, but a mention.  And the search page suggested Fulbourn Teversham, which gave me the villages.

I can think of one.  Two, in fact.  But you were first out the traps.

OK an easy one?

What city unveiled a mural of Jimi Hendrix on the building where he bought his first guitar?

7/4

I thought it was 5, then I sang it in my head & counted it.

EDIT: That's a weird time sig to use.  And it varies, doesn't it? Ah yes, I see you specify the verses, so I think I'm OK.  I'm not sure what else it uses.

Disclaimer: I never studied music theory, but I do know that I only know one rock song in 9/8
