Yes, I think there are saxophones (?) in there, but clarinet goes higher too (in my very limited knowledge).

It wouldn't sound as crisp* as that if it was a saxophone, would it, even if the tone was right?
* Quick attack at the start of each note, and quick in general.

A soprano sax does sound close-ish though I think... agree on crispness and tone diffs. Mind you it looks a bit like a clarinet... (IANAM
) .
