Peewhits and Curlews 20/06/2020

Just noticed this in the calendar  (https://www.audax.uk/event-details?eventId=7879). Looks good and hilly without been silly.

It mentions sleep control overnight. Anybody know where this will be? Carlisle and Keswick look like the two options.

Giving this some serious thought.

Looks really good, I've added it to my calendar but I couldn't get your link to work:

Caldbeck is the planned overnight sleep stop, but I need to confirm with the hall. It'll be somewhere around there.

I'll likely point out to riders that there are options in Carlisle as well if you're after a bit more luxury (I booked Stobart's truck stop last year, but never ended up going).

That looks like a proper adventure, I have a difficult decision to make. Cheers Deano (I think)  :)

Hall booked :)

It's now at Greystoke (for all you Tarzan fans out there), which actually erases some of the hills, and saves you having to go through Keswick, so you'll get an early morning ride past Thirlmere instead.
