I've got a loverly schmidt on my best audax bike.  The front light is a Cyo.  I had a B&M  Seculite Plus from my old audax bike which had proper, full mudguards.  This type of light is supposed to mount on the mudguard.  But the Roubaix has Crud Roadrace mudguards which are a) too flimsy and b) don't have the clearance for a nut and bolt for holding on a light.

But now- hurrah- I have a solution.  I p-cliped a plate from the bottom of an SPD shoe to the top of the stay near the brake and then attached the light to that.  Using a p-clip on it's own didn't give enough room for the small bolt on the light to fit.  With a shoe plate the light sticks out slightly, it's got a good angle and seems solid.

TBH the ugliest bit is running the cables back to the generator at the front
