Why are so many countries making a concerted effort to mug the English language this year?

I'm sure Eurovision wasn't this crap when I watched it as a kid. The kids are doing scorecards! Very funny.

I really can't work out what Italy it trying to achieve?

Loved Jedward though. Can't sing, borrowed one of Gary Glitter's old costumes, can't dance and even their backing singers were rubbish. They have to win - they just SO deserve to!

Why are so many countries making a concerted effort to mug the English language this year?

Because the winning songs tend to be sung in English.

Maybe the Irish organisers should have made Jedward sing in Gaelic.

 ;D
