Okay there's good and bad news..... Pinarello was a no apparently they said they already sponsor some Team Sky and Team Wiggins.....? (Never heard of them!!!!) So they couldn't really push the boat out for ACME sponsorship plus they weren't sure how comfortable their soot bikes would be for LEL!!
Never fear on the plus side I have at least got us a sponsored team bus

Do take note of those 'Essex boy racer' alloys, it's the minor details that count

I think Genesis have that nearly sewn up already...
You are in a maze of twisty flat droves, all alike.

Any volunteers to keep the team bus at theirs? Or is it best to go with the default and ask Ted to park it at his West Mersea small holding.

I may have slightly oversold the extent of the Shred acreage  :P

If it was a matchbox model then I would have room.

In fairness I would expect the Bedford rascal to take up less space than the horses

You're not kidding Doggers are you? You've actually bought the Rascal haven't you?  huggy, you might want to suspend Dogger's ACME corporate credit card, I think he's getting a bit carried away.

It was 99p 'buy it now' and said it was in working condition! In your own words 'what could possibly go wrong!'

The scrap yard won't take it because of the asbestos in the walls?  ::-)  ;)

Aside from the minor details of asbestos walls I'm a little worried that the new team bus can only carry 2 persons and quite probably not 5 bikes as per the team Volvo of tippers......

It's a bit quiet in here today, the heros of ACME must still be recovering from BCM.. chapeau!

I'm pondering a little excursion, it just so happens to be 300km from Chelmsford, to Chelmsford, around the M25.  I have a route based upon one I have stolen with pride (from Diesel in this thread)... includes a ferry too... so potential DIY, just can't decide which month to do it in...  anyone else interested?

Me and huggy did a 400k DIY that went round the M25. No ferries just 4500m of climbing plus some other treats. Shall I share the route with you?

once our final 'branding' is decided and our sponsors are all set up I might splash out on a set of magnetic signage for cars so that road trips like the BCM can be done in full ACME livery to go with the full kit look  ;D

A little announcement about possibly the first (?) official ACME events on 6th August, the 100k and 200k audax are locked and loaded on AUK.  Time to start a new thread on the Audax page soon
100k A little Essex R&R
