I can confirm that the incident you reported on 15.04.13 (minicab driver on telephone almost colliding with you on Walthamstow Avenue roundabout) has been investigated by police.
Although on this occasion we are unable to prosecute the driver of the vehicle involved, an information report has been compiled and passed to the Local Police, Traffic Patrol officers and Transport for London (TfL) for their information and action.
The use of mobile telephones whilst driving on our roads is an increasing problem which is being robustly addressed not only by police but also at a Parliamentary level.
Please do not allow the outcome of this incident to deter you from reporting poor driving practices to Road Safe London in the future.
