Tentative good news, I've manged to get a second interview for a job I'd like (and that would get me out of the hellish one I have at the moment, albeit at a lesser salary).  Just got to do ok in the "TST" test (may be tautological as I don't know what "TST" stands for, it being something from Thomas International, as was the "PPA", the psychometric test I had to do at the first interview), some kind of IQ thingy to test "raw talent" - multiple choice with sequences of shapes, numbers, words etc.  I do wonder why people can't trust their own judgement sometimes. Especially as I've been in similar and more senior positions for the last 20 years!

I think TST stands for 'Load Of Old Bollocks', as these tests invariably are.  See?  They can't even acronymise properly! ;D

Good news, though - hoping for the best :)
Getting there...

We're off to the pyrenees tomorrow, and if we're lucky on Sunday we might get to see some fit blokes whizz past us on some hill or other :D

Are you sure that you won't need something steel with lugs for that?

Have just saved  £1100, by booking tickets to Bangkok with Finnair instead of Thai airways.

Yes; I got business class to Bangkok via Helsinki for less than BA economy class a few years ago.  Good it was.
