I think Jane has recent sleeper experience. I know she was in correspondence with Serco (?) over their new rolling stock. There was a suggestion that there would be a big hike in fares when it is introduced.

This is not proving as easy as anticipated. I seems that the Oban-Islay via Colonsay ferries are quite limited, being only Saturday and Wednesday, leaving at 1645, which kind of scuppers my plan to spend Saturday exploring Islay before the ride on Sunday.

Given that Islay is the main point of the trip, I think I need to revise the outbound leg somewhat.
