It was reported on BBC 5Live this afternoon that Brian Robinson (the first British rider to win
a Tour de France stage) died today, aged 91.

I have books with lovely pictures of him at the Tour.  He deserves to be far better remembered.  He was still riding an e-bike pretty recently, I think.  Brian was at John Radford's wake.
