That's hideous - is it a Topanga? I had one very similar in my teens.

Yep, a Topanga. One of the reasons I bought it was the hideous paint. Wait till you see how much more hideous it can get once I've fitted drop bars. :D

A quill stem adapter so I could fit one of the many stems I seem to have collected over the years.

That's better!

Several. A B&M dynamo light set, and a rear rack and rack pack, both Topeak brand. Hopefully I’ll be able to molisg some way of attaching the Exposure Redeye rear light to the proprietary Topeak light clip on the rack pack.

Hmmm, I.cold but bought a Cateye specific bracket instead. And I’ve splashed out in some Lake shoes (2pairs, standard and narrow) in my continuing quest for comfort. As they’re leather they may conform to my feet better.

Took delivery of some Superstar Elite 24 wheels that I got in the sales, to replace the ageing Bontrager ones I've got on my summer bike. Also ordered some new GP4000s to go on them.

A 160 brake disk fitted for me at the bestest LBS1 I've seen in a looong while.  One of those that goes on forever stacked high with, at one extreme, ancient stuff that'll 'come in handy one day' through to bang up to date gear at the other.

What else can you do with a £10 Wiggle voucher when you already have plenty of spare inner tubes?
Why should anybody steal a watch when they can steal a bicycle?

An 8mm Wera Joker Combination Ratchet Spanner.

Shiny! Are those replaceable jaws?

No, it's a stop.  The open end has 30° positions.  In the 'normal' position, the open end behaves like any other open ended spanner, but if you rotate the tool through 30°, the stop will retain a head.  This helps if you need to hold a nut in place with the spanner, to get it into an inaccessible location.  They've put a lot of thought into these spanners, but consequently they're expensive.

I think this part has to be bolted on, because of the nature of its construction, and any spares do not appear to be easily available.

An 11-40 cassette, because Decathlon were doing them relatively cheaply.

I actually considered composing a valentine's poem to mine earlier today. Bloody love it!

Box from CRC arrived

- 4th hand tool
- cable cutters

- a lifetime's supply of brake and cable outers (30m reels, I couldn't resist the offer vs buying by the meter)

Brake levers may arrive tomorrow.
