I am looking at buying one of these, but am struggling to find if it can cope with what I want it for, as getting conflicting information from Googling.
Working from home, I have my work laptop, and then a personal EEE901 netbook, running linux. The netbook is used to listen to BBC radio via their website (Listen Again, rather than live streaming) in the background, together with some surfing at the same time. Does the Transformer allow this sort of multi-tasking? I have seen some reports that the radio playback only works when that specific browser window is open, and that when you go to another then the audio stops.
Any advice would be appreciated, and could save me 500€. As an aside, I am not in the UK, so not sure that any specific iplayer app would work, as these seem to be limited to UK IP adresses. Radio via the BBC website is not country specific.
