KMC S1 chain - OK for fixed?

I've found KMC S1 chains for sale at £5, but I'm not 100% sure if they are OK for fixed. The info on the KMC website says it's for internal gear hub / single speed, but doesn't mentioned fixed. However I cannot think of a good reason why this wouldn't work. It would be fine, right ?

Should be OK unless you're a real torque-monster.
I used to el-cheapo single-speed/hub-gear chains over the winter and never had any problems, although nowadays I tend to use BMX chains (Wippermann Weissturme 152 for preference - about a tenner each)

I think that'd do it.  Since I was recommended SRAM PC-1, I've seen no need to change.

I've destroyed another SRAM PC-1, might try something cheaper this time

That's because there isn't one! The chain doesn't know it's fixed so it won't worry about it. Therefore nor need you. Buy 'em cheap and sling 'em this time of year.
