Your autobiography

If you were to write one, what would you call it?

The cover art for mine comes from Mad Men,

(click to show/hide)

the blurb, A Few Good Men. Might as well throw this in while I'm at it.

Fact spiced with fiction, like all the best autobiographies. Alas it won't give this guy a run for his money,

because unlike me, Statler & Waldorf don't have box seats in his head. (Langella's book is a fun read. You'd better keep your pants on around him.)

We're not wearing any!

Runners-up:

The entire shelf, for those drama llama llong nights of the soul:

Your turn.

I've always thought the perennial teachers' comment  on my school reports would work: "Could do better", or to give it the full title "Grade A: Could do better"

Dunno, but a quick review of my life to see if there is anything worth recording for "our posteriors"* suggests the title would probably be longer than the document and, "The Diary of a Nobody" has already been used.  Hmmm... how about, "He wasn't a complete shit."?  Would probably serve as an, all too accurate, epitaph into the bargain. :)

*Bonus points for identifying the film.

To quote Mr Burth, my history teacher: "An essay was required, not a telegram."

Probably something along those lines of "I don't think anyone noticed"
Admission.  I'm actually not that fussed about cake.

Not sure of a title, but I know what the first line would be:

"I owe everything to Tom Jones."

My parents met when Tom Jones played La Bamba in Darlo.

Thanks for the replies. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but thought I’d give it a shot. The last time I asked somebody this question for an interview she demured, so I had to take matters into my own hands

In the spirit of glorious timewasting, I also offer the following

Two for one

* Some of these were already sitting in my quite large ’Find a place for these’ folder.

I'm drawing a blank, but can offer this, from the book If I Fall I Die

Couldn't Quite Be Arsed

If there isn't a book association thread, there should be.

... "our posteriors"...

Nothing so erudite.  Carry on Cleo.  KW as Caesar after the dust up at the Temple of Vesta, same scene as "Infamy, infamy..."

Caesar, "I cannot go without saying something for posterity."
Calpurnia, "No, dear. Of course you cannot."
Caesar, "Then let our posteriors know this..."
