My issue with there "bike to work" initiatives is that I had always planned to do so as I have no alternative.

(Nor me, I tend to run to work on a Friday, but cycle home.)

I'm never sure who their target audience is. I don't know anyone who cycles to work who has done so off the back of one of these campaigns.
