Not a very helpful review - it looks like it was written by someone who'd never used GPS on a bike before. eg no comparison to a Garmin. I'll wait and see what DC Rainmaker thinks of it.

Apparently it uses some sort of OpenStreetMap based mapping. I'm wondering if its any good, does it include any bike paths etc. And is there any way of updating the maps.

It looks like too little, too late, to me.

It might appeal to those who use a Mio in their car and like the interface etc, but when it is, near enough, the same price as an Edge 200 or a good second hand Edge705 (and the Magellan ones are coming down in price), why would you buy one (unless you fitted into the first group)
I feel like Captain Kirk, on a brand new planet every day, a little like King Kong on top of the Empire State

We have VERY poor experience of Mio's GPS based products, i.e. a PDA with GPS.  It was crap, Miio didn't care and wouldn't acknowledge its numerous faults and failings.  I would never buy another Mio product...
