Dunno about breakfast but if there for lunch/dinner try Red India on the high street, excellent. There is also a Weatherspoons on the high street.
Get a bicycle. You will never regret it, if you live- Mark Twain

Brexitspoons is off the mllePB approved list.

Definitely breakfast time / early to mid morning I'm afraid.  We're repeating our retun route from Wing but on lighter, unladen bikes.   Will also have camera for pictures of the Harringworth (Welland) viaduct.

Hmmm.   Oakham looks bereft of cafes.   Poor showing.    :(

Costa on the High St, the Tesco superstore should also have a cafe, and I think one by the church/castle.

I know it's not Oakham but is Cafe Ventoux worth a detour?

Baobab on the High Street opp. Coop Funerals.   Nice little place.    :)

We also stopped at Cafe Ventoux even though it is a bit pretentious.  Good coffee and cake and I love the little Fiat.
