Come on you lot, Steve's been on the road since 7.30! I wonder what rabbit he can pull out of the hat today ...
-
In the zone! Awesome stuff!
-
I wish he wouldn't keep doing this! I haven't had the chance to recover since yesterday!
-
At last, a proper occasion to use the word - AWESOME!
Now, just a little loosener today, Steve?
Allez, Allez!
-
32.5 miles on the clock already. It is very mild for November, so may be that is an advantage. He sees to be coping with the short days very well. Lets hope the weather is kind to him over the winter.
-
It's a super dupa warm November at the moment. Won't get better than this even with the pesky wind.
Hopefully the promised cold and snow won't materialise.
-
Let's hope not
-
It's starting to feel like a proper WR attempt now. Woohoo.
Performance on individual days are largely irrelevant.
Yes and no, kind of like any single vote in an election. None really count, and yet they all count.
Allez Steve

The only people stupid enough to 'promise' weather months ahead write for the *&$+* Daily Express. You haven't been reading . . . no, of course not :demon:
Fortunately, I doubt that Steve reads the papers these days ;D

Fortunately, I doubt that Steve reads the papers these days ;D
I was just thinking the other day, someone needs to record the BBC News review of the year or something, so Steve can find out what has happened this year whilst he's been occupied elsewhere.
There was one of Idai's videos that touched on it, and obviously Steve does see news headlines on the papers at garages etc. (he'd heard about someone shooting Cecil the lion at that time).
Quite amazing to become so removed from the day to day goings on in the world. I am jealous in many ways.

I think he's still getting used to the novelty of not having road in front of him to worry too much about newspapers. ;D

I feel more removed from the day to day goings on in the world when I watch TV news. It rarely seems to resemble reality.

Go Steve!
-
After yesterdays marathon, Steve is getting close to home at 177 miles, despite the second day of a relatively early start; the question now is, does he...
1. go for an early night?
2. nip off for another short loop as its only 22:00?
-
And that seems to be that! 194.43 on the tracker and the pointer has disappeared. Will that work out to be a Godwin or just short?
-
Must be something good on TV ;)
