Cyclocross- wheels and stuff.

Partly as a result of a thread somewhere on here about training etc. I was inspired to have a pop at cyclocross. It's becoming clear that this was a stupid idea, but I've already bought a frame from someone on another forum.

Forks too.

So now I'm committed.

That said, chances are I'll give up pretty early on, thankfully the cross bike will also make a fine commuter and will look considerably more gnarly than my usual hack. Especially if I can get blue tyres for it.

Two things I'm going to have to consider now.

(1) I'm going to have to practice jumping on and off the bike really fast and running around with it, jumping logs and riding through mud etc. I'm rubbish at most aspects of bike control, it's going to hurt.

(2) I'm going to need wheels and stuff.

What sort of rims'n'hubs will work for cross? I'm trying to bring the build in around £400 (the frame was £70).
