35mm hotshoe mounted viewfinder
« on: 08 December, 2009, 12:57:55 pm »
Does anyone know of one that doesn't cost a small fortune, like the Voightlander does?

It's for an experiment with my Canon G10.

Cheers.

Seek out a Russian Kiev one with variable focal lengths.  It's cheap and actually better than the Leica equivalent:

There are indiv. Russian viewfinders as well (I had a 90mm & a 35mm for my Zorki & Kiev), which are less bulky, and less collectable, which makes the price better.  But they're good & accurate (excepting close range, of course), and bright.

Though I would have to say that the multiple length turret type is lovely & gadgety ;)
