Not had shouting in ages.
In reverse, what (if anything) do you holler out to fellow cyclists when you are on foot or in a car?  Nice bike?

"Cyclewankers!"

(But only to cyclists who know me.)

"I've seen that on Youtube!"

Where?  Where are all those videos going?

*has a thought*

*searches Youtube for "sick bike"*

Nope, too obvious.   ???

Riding to work at about 2015 hrs. Group of about six young teens, who run across the road to try and kick the wheels out from under me.

Stop and smack one of them? And get arrested? Or likely stabbed?

Pedalled harder.

Little shits. I think you picked the best option but sad that you had to.
Miles cycled 2014 = 3551.5 (Target 7300 :()
Miles cycled 2013 = 6141.4
Miles cycled 2012 = 4038.1

Got called a "fucking dickhead" by a high-spirited chav in the passenger seat of a white car just for being on the road*.  I called him a twat and we exchanged hand gestures.  It's best not to reason with them.

*I think he was annoyed because I was doing 30mph and keeping up with the van in front, instead of wobbling along the gutter at roadkill speed

The passenger of a van leant his whole head out the window, then his hand too. "High five!" he yelled as he passed me. Admittedly I was on foot at the time, waiting for the lights to change so I could cross the road.

Friday night, I was pushing my bike through the subway in Horley. The bike is festive season compliant and bears a string of blinken LEDs. A proto oik, aged 10 or 11, accompanied by his mother came towards mem
"Wow, that is a cool bike bro!". Much smiling from all involved.

The very same.

I remember walking my bike through there once, and on the East side I met another cyclist coming through, walking his bike as I was. We moved next to the wall to keep the path clear, as we had a chat, and someone walking through decided to stop and inform us, at length, that there was no cycling allowed in the subway and that all cyclists are cnuts.

I’d like one of those, provided I can see it’s BSEN1078 certificate  :smug:
I’ve decided I’m not old. I’m 25 .....plus shipping and handling.

What's wrong with people that they behave this way? Midnight on a Saturday just before Christmas, the city centre is full of drunken revellers and when a lycra-clad cyclist rides by... no one says anything!!!

Today out on a rural lane near home, a cyclist ( a proper cyclist in lycra  not just a nutter on a BSO) told Mrs. M to "Fuck off ".
Fortunately for him,I was some way ahead of her or he would have been beating any strava segment known to man with me chasing him.
As he had passed me earlier ,I can just about remember what he looked like.

Indeed. I remember setting off at around 2230 hrs one Friday to ride the 12 miles from Newcastle Central Station to my mother's, which entailed going past the Bigg Market of sub-zero semi-nudity fame. In a Foska Bones jacket.

That was far more traditionally responded to.

"Reindeer!"  Which confused me somewhat but I double checked anyway and I have not grown a set of antlers, was not pulling a sleigh and despite the weather my nose was not glowing red!
