Wasn't in a sensible place to stop and take a photo, but a hand-drawn "TRACTRS TURNING" sign.  Farming meets Web 2.0, presumably.

In the canteen today:
Jerk chicken. Rice. Coslow.
No. English is not the first language of the kitchen staff.

For those who don't speak Danish, it means approx 'the final push' (in this case towards the end of the sale).
I'm told an alternative meaning is available.

This post in the SuperTwat thread
Mark Constantine, founder of Lush. The man is pure evil.
Is he?  I had the impression (possibly carefully cultivated) that the Constantines were progressive, campaigning folk, against animal testing etc.
just reminded me of the sign outside the Lush shop in Nice:

No idea if this is genuine or not, and whereof one cannot speak, thereof one must be silent:

I don't see it on Open Plaques.

I'm pretty certain it is factual, from retained cranial information about Wittgenstein predating Wikipedia.

Guys Hospital? I'm sure it's much older than that and I used to hang around with a nurse from there about 25 years ago. Must be wrong ;)

We saw an old sign today calling it 'Mr Guy's Hospital', and decided to campaign for the reinstatement of the 'Mr' ;)

Although this sign is next door but one to me - a mere tens of feet away, I never noticed this myself.  #2 son happened across it on the interwebs.

Actually, one sign is not silly at all.
Admission.  I'm actually not that fussed about cake.

Not silly, as such, but funny. Seen in, umm, Belgrave Square on Friday night, this modified no left turn sign:

There are two ways you can get exercise out of a bicycle: you can
"overhaul" it, or you can ride it.  (Jerome K Jerome)

Cudzoziemiec

  • Ride adventurously and stop for a brew.

I like that a lot.
Riding a concrete path through the nebulous and chaotic future.

Not really a silly sign, as it's perfectly sensible!

Not a sign, but the new form from the DBS (the replacement for the CRB)
