Pedal weights?
« on: 13 April, 2022, 04:18:17 pm »
I've got Campag quill pedals on my 1980s Roberts.  Only one side of the pedal is comfortable for my foot.  I prefer to wear normal shoes on the bike, so don't really want toe clips and straps.  I'm looking for an idea to weight the pedals so they are naturally 'top up'. They are awkward to flip whilst riding.  Any ideas?

Maybe some fishing non toxic equivalent to lead shot stuck on or pop to your local car tyre centre and see what the lightest wheel weights they do are

I would swap to a nice double-sided flat pedal. MKS Sylvan Touring is my preference but there are lots of choices.
