where can I find the photos that the Professional photographers were selling at the end?
I assume there are online options to buy them
I was pleased with my 82 hours 21mins, especially after being too slow in the rain 4 years ago. My chosen time limit was 90 hours.
My ride plan was to ride as fast as possible to Brest, and enjoy more stops (controls and roadside food and coffee, etc,) on the way back.
I rode about half the route with riders I knew, so that was good.
My photos are at

Have only had time to view Rich's (excellent) shots so far, but hope to view more soon.
These are mine. Once I took out the crap photos there wasn't many left so here are the ones mainly of the riders I cycled with at different stages.

I was pleased with my time having planned to get round in 72hrs. I think I was a bit lucky to miss the worst of the heavy rain on Monday night when I managed 3hrs sleep in the hall at Carhaix :smug:

The first group of vedettes. Some blokey in a white yacf jersey and white shorts in the middle. Very, erm, Italian ;)

I was impressed by mattc's resolve. He'd obviously learned his lessons from 2007.I know how to take a hint.
I think MV's mistake may have been ordering a mug of Horlicks and choosing a comfy chair.

Who is the chap standing with Swarm_Catcher? I rode with him for a while but haven't the foggiest recollection what his name is...

Here is my video of my arrival back at the Gymnasium.
The blurry artefacts are down to the "Deshaker" software I used trying to interpolate missing edge detail.
Still, it shows very well my best memory of the ride. You may be able to spot Exit Stage Left, Chillmoister & Keeks if you are sharp-eyed.
Been there, done that! (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xOYUC_snV2w)
Were you aiming fo rthat couple crossing the road?
H
What happened there ? It looked like you was all over the place then at the end fell off

This (http://www.flickr.com/photos/46113393@N00/6133031951/in/faves-johnspooner/lightbox/) is one of my favourite photos. It shows just what it was like for bespectacled 84-hour starters on Monday evening. That's a goody. (It almost makes me feel sorry for y'all).
That is the third time I have witnessed thePBP and after some drink fuelled consideration I have decided to try to make the 2115.

And the 'random randonneur' is John Grunzke from Arkansas. 2011 was his 6th PBP. He was under 50 hours in 2003.
Could it be that only people who have actually paid for Tim's photos got them in the mag?
No. Damn me for even thinking that...
Despite Arrivee's photographic evidence to the contrary I'd like to point out that I took part in, and successfully completed, PBP 2011

A double page spread would have done it justice, surely?
This thread is useless etc. :)
