Never before has the lack of legroom in the back of a Corsa been such a hindrance...  Look at those knees!

That's been featured in those hallowed portals before. Maybe when it was made. Maybe we should buy it as a forum vehicle for eg rainy pub rides? Or maybe best not!

If I get it to Long Itch who is going to ride it to Canons Ashby and back?

I will not mention the hills ...

250 w motor on that beast?  I'm assuming that you'd need more and of course a huge fuck off battery.

Why don't we just buy a mk1 Leaf with a 24kwh battery and add pedals?

The trouble is it has 4 wheels.
You can only have 2 or 3 wheels on an electric bike.
The fourth wheel would make it an electric car along with all that entails .....

So would a QuatroVelo with assist fall foul of this?

Nope but a couple of owners have already put motors in their QuattroVelos, including two in the UK.

Sorry, I'm not up to date ....  :-[
The law changed in April 2015 and now electric bikes are permitted to have more than 3 wheels (with no weight restriction).

Yebbut, methinks something as heavy as that would need a LOT more than 250w to give it a meaningful shove.
