I thought some of my rides had interesting wildlife interactions, but "being eaten by a couger" is a whole new level of things to add to the cycling risk assessment... I wonder if the lion ate the helmet...

I saw a quote somewhere that they "did everything right"
Apart from getting eaten of course. Makes my almost running over a swift yesterday seem quite trivial (apart from for the swift of course)

There's a pic of a Balkans Lynx in the Telegraph today.
That looks like a lot of cat and it is nowhere near a cougar's size.
