rollers are great for warm up, improving the balance and cadence. for power training - it depends. on rollers without added resistance (tacx antares) it feels a bit too easy - in 52x11 gear i get 151w at 90rpm with hr=130, when in reality i can ride at 180-200w all day long.
so, to improve the quality of workouts i'm looking at a variable resistance rollers and wondering if anyone could recommend some? they should be quiet and fold small. anyone tried the
planet x ones?
