He has since apologised.
Which make it ok, I suppose.
Not.

His rival could've spent the rest of his days being fed soup.
Whilst spending the rest of his days being  unaware that he is being fed soup.

Though oddly enough, VR46 didn't boot him out for that - it was being an arse towards his pit crew in 2016 that was the final straw.

Switching Ajo's bike off on the line was quite funny, to be fair. Still a super-twattish and very unsportsmanlike thing to do but at least it's not dangerous. If you're going to be an arse anyway, that's a better way to do it than grabbing your rival's brakes at 130mph.

You'd not be jumping at the opportunity to share Tarmac with him.

When I was involved in motor sport (a very log time ago) that sort of behaviour would have led to a sound thrashing as soon as he returned to the paddock.

I read that one earlier and reckoned there ought to be some sort of Darwin award equivalent for criminals who are caught because of doing something particularly stupid.

Glad they caught the bastard.

I can't decide whether it's Dunning-Kruger, cargo-cult watching of CSI or whatever, but there's something of an Elmore Leonard level of dumb-con fuckery about the clipping of the nails and leaving the evidence. Or maybe they thought the clippings wouldn't be found? Good on the forensics there.

On the same theme there was a clip the other day of a robber who, while trying to rob a vape store, tried to pull out a gun (this was the US, of course, so there's nothing that's not improved by more guns) fumbled it and dropped it over the counter. So he tried to leap the counter and dramatically overestimated his athleticism. At which point, he opted to run off first pausing to deliver a less-than-ninja kick to the shop door and then running into the parking lot. Whereupon his load-riding trousers fell down. Unfortunately he failed to fall flat on his face.

Mark Serwotka - yet another Labour anti-Semite out of the closet.

And separately, the Church of England, whose hypocrisy knows no bounds. (I wonder how much tax they pay themselves?)

Serwotka and his wife are both rabid transphobes. There have been repeated instances of him voting against the union's mandated position on trans issues, i.e. he goes along to a conference to deliver the union's agreed position---and reverses it.

I left the union because of him. I still get 'your mates liked this page' stuff on FB, and the first time I did I posted a comment on it to the effect of what I said above. I now find I can neither comment nor read the existing ones.

Utterly vile couple.

Musk has earned lifelong membership, methinks, with his latest brainless chunterings.

Judging by a meme I spotted earlier, I take it he's doubling down in his spat with the British guy involved in the Thai cave rescue, then?
With spades on.
Either Musk is suffering from extreme sleep deprivation and has no mental faculties left, or he has been snorting something he shouldn't have.

Vernon Unsworth is now suing Musk.

No surprises there, but he did do such sterling work defending ickul kiddis and mommas from dem evil transers.

Hint to him: 'saving children' doesn't mean collecting them.

In the meantime, the count of trans people attacking women and children in public toilets remains.... nil.

Whilst on the subject of American right wingers who love children in the worst possible way...

Quote
Cody Rutledge Wilson, the 31-year-old Texas man who’s been fighting with the U.S. government to publish instructions for 3D-printed guns on the internet, was charged today with the sexual assault of a child. Wilson allegedly met the girl on a website called SugarDaddyMeet.com.

https://gizmodo.com/3d-printed-gun-activist-cody-wilson-charged-with-sexual-1829168263

Wilson's known mainly for his 3d-printed gun advocacy, but he also set up a (now apparently moribund) crowdfunding site for right-wingers called - wait for it - "Hatreon".

Quote
In June 2017, Wilson launched a new website titled “Hatreon.” The website, complete with a name riffing off of popular crowdfunding site Patreon, is deliberately intended to supplant traditional fundraising sources, which have increasingly moved to mitigate the amount of hate speech on their platforms.

By October 2017, the site had moved from its quiet “soft launch” to allowing many from across the alt-right to open platforms, including weev, Andrew Anglin of The Daily Stormer and Richard Spencer.

This sort of thing makes me hop a bit when I witness the daily kamikaze car drivers dropping off and picking up their kids from school, parking all over the place, and zooming up residential access roads like land speed record hopefuls. I am convinced if they could throw the kids into school during a drive by they would do so. Ho hum.

The rest of the scheme looks good -Discounted equipment, training, maintenance workshops etc. It's just that having to wear a bike number plate doesn't fit with the aim of the scheme - 'To promote cycling as healthy, fun and a means of transport'. I can't find any description of the form that these bicycle number plates will take.

This sentence in his blog jarred

If he's the best teacher at the school I'd be glad not to be sending my kids there. Honestly, has he not noticed the sludge of badly driven and parked cars that stall outside his school twice a day. It's a good (and sad) example that it's become invisible through ubiquity.

I am surprised no one has considered adapting this for school collection/despatch.
