I can't be arsed with Twitter, but Policy Exchange aren't even based in Tufton St. I also don't think it's (yet) a crime to associate with them.

On the other hand, two of its founders were Francis Maude and Slithy Gove so their address pales into insignificance.

Its a two decade old pressure group aimed at influencing Tory policy. Sunak used to work for them.

I'm not saying I like or agree with them, but they do have a web page which outlines the work they do and where they are located. Took me under 30 seconds. There's nothing inherently wrong with a conservative-leaning 'think-tank' (though yes, I'd agree for any of these entities to be transparent about their funding and their links with government).

I think there is something very wrong with many of the Tufton lot, given that they are proxies for fossil fuel lobby groups, or culture warriors liked Spiked, aimed at spreading social discord  with opaque funding from hard right US groups.

Take the IAE, and its former employee Kate Richards. How on earth did that woman get a regular seat on QT and Politics Live, given that she possesses zero qualifications or expertise in economics.

Because she hates trans people, and that is the current prime culture war as mentioned by Flatus. She has just done a(nother) front-page hit piece on trans people for that bastion of Labour support, the Daily Heil.

My question stands. How does she keep the whip?

Rosie Duffield deserves her own cesspit in Super Twat hell.

Over recent times there have been a number of "Labour" MP's who deserve Super Twat hell.  Duffield is up there with the worst of them.

And Kate Hoey.   Became Farage's wingman an peddler of bigoted hate.  And still does with her later comments comparing Stormont with Vichy France.

Really, can you explain why? Her voting record marks her out as pretty much the star pupil of yacf.

Hoey can get in the sea though.

Because of her very open bigotry, intolerance of and prejudice towards trans people.

Cool, you’ll have quotes and examples to share, I’m sure. It’s a mad world when an otherwise liberal and progressive mp is otherwise slandered because you disagree on one issue.

In another universe there is an Ian complaining sulkily about people posting supportive messages about something he disagrees with, and let's everyone know at every possible opportunity, on threads on which he doesn't think they should be posted.

Former Education Minister Andrea Jenkyns stages a return to form with a Tweet supporting Midair Bacon (anag.) in which she manages to misspell “courteous”, “precedent” and – best of all – “Thatcherite”.
