Somebody - mcshroom? phantasmagoriana? - was asking about the Deeside Loop and Amulree rides.

Breaking news from the most excellent organiser: "Deeside Loop is on Sunday 14 June. I'm planning something for the Saturday but not sure if it will be Amulree or another ride. I'm planning a weekend including the Deeside Loop."
Obviously not BRM, but a superb event nonetheless.

NOW SUNDAY 12 JULY
With the 50k Lintrathen Loop on Saturday 11.

I managed the Deeside loop (which is great if anyone is swithering) but DNSd the Lintrathen loop last year so it would be nice to come back, hopefully with mini-me if David is putting on a 50k

Just heard news from the organiser: in an unexpected development, it appears there was a West of Scortland-based audax in the system for the proposed date, so...

The Deeside Loop 200 is now Sunday 12 July, with the epic Lintrathen Loop 50k on Satuday 11.

I was thinking of a 200k on the Saturday as well i.e. a Kinloch Rannoch 200k.
Would there be much interest in consecutive 200's ? good work our before national 400k ?

We stopped at the Birdhouse Café in Banchory today and found out that they're not open next weekend
