I love oysters! Never done me any harm. Where are you eating them? Dakota at South Queensferry does a brilliant seafood platter, best in the Edinburgh area.

I'll try that sometime. We were at the Mussel and Steak bar in the Grassmarket - it's really good.
Glad to know you are still with us then.
Young Miss eck lives at the top of the building where the bar is. Must get her to take us there next time we are over.  ;D
It's a bit weird, but actually quite wonderful.

I love Oysters but it's so hard to find good Oysters here, I was spoiled by NZ and India when it comes to seafood :( Any recommendations?

Ah, Whitstable Oyster Stout, on tap at the Canterbury Beer festival last night.

I've only had oysters once otherwise, and was pretty underwhelmed, but I'm willing to believe that they were mediocre ones I was being served.
Have you seen my blog? It has words. And pictures! http://ablogofallthingskathy.blogspot.com/

I've only ever eaten one, and that was in Rick Stein's restaurant in Padstow.

A few hours later I whitied out on the bathroom floor in a haze of nasea, stomach cramps, fever, squits, headache, sweats, dizziness.

And that was just from receiving the bill.
