That is called for improved grip in the wet.

How come they are slightly more worn on the right side than the left ?

This on the other hand is a Race tyre after half that distance..

Co-incidentally I have just finished taking a Marathon off the back wheel because it's down to cracass showing thru' in several places :o

ICBA to take & post a pic atm but any passing yacfers are welcome to call for a tyre inspection.There might even be cake available.

Yes indeed - 'tis already back on the bike  :).

I was just taken by the number of should-have-been-a-puncture holes.

marathoh plus tyres after a lot of km. (at least 10k of commuting on streets of london plus another few thousand km of audaxes, social rides, errands..).

The tyres on my 'yellow bike' after untold miles commuting/training/general riding........

Only noticed 'cause someone asked me if they were two-tone :-[


(admittedly, these images date back to 2007, when that bike was in constant use. Just 're-commisioned' it, after hanging in the garage since 2010)
