Had my 1985 Bob Jackson restored by Kevin Winter (Bob Jackson were no help whatsoever btw). It's my favourite bike of seven. It's the one I most enjoy riding and I've never regretted spending the money. Just wish I had my 1985 legs back.
My 2000 Bob Jackson was fixed by Ellis Briggs, new top tube needed among other things. They did a beautiful job. Also fixed a down tube for me earlier.
It seems hard to find a bike that fits me well so I tend to get damage fixed rather than buy a replacement.
