Did you know that the early Britons were black?

Not surprising really as everyone was black (well  brown at least)  at that time in Europe. White skin is a recent mutation that spread through the European population about 6,000 years ago I think. I seem to remember that there have been other times white skin  evolved but the European version was about 6000 years ago.
I think you'll find it's a bit more complicated than that.

Next you'll be telling us that we're all immigrants!

Several times over, once every ice age. Though if 10% here now are descended from this Mr Cheddar, some of us only once.

Even better go back further and everyone's ancestors were white. Black people evolved from white people so you could say that black people are more advanced that white people!

Actually our white ancestors were covered in hair like a gorilla or a chimp. Dark skin evolved as we we lost our fur.
I think you'll find it's a bit more complicated than that.

Sadly, you don't need to go far back to discover that we're all related to the Cheeto-in-Chief.

I have a suspicion that my archetypal Celtic/Anglo-Saxon/Norse/Huguenot humour didn't come across particularly well there.

Not surprising. The ability to digest lactose as an adult is a fairly recent mutation, probably coming after we invented farming.

It amuses me that we are more Neanderthal than the Africans who are more Homosapian. In other words they are purer than the white folk.

Indeed it is. We were still repairing those when I started at a computer reseller in1984.

I remember that there was a waiting list to use the PET in the computer lab in Bradford Collage circa 1979.

Those of us in the in the more northerly climes who are not of African decent.

It was a lame attempt at poking fun at the Nazis and other white supremisist. Personally I find people to be knobs or not knobs when I have to deal with them, the rest is immaterial as far as I know.
