They do: it's called First Class. Well, not the limited girth but the seats are wider.

Anyway, wot I am doing is drinking my second cuppa after breakfast and watching the snow change to sleet.

Wondering why we are watching the ‘sport’ of ice dancing on the TV.

ETA. Here's an idea for BA to drive revenue. Sell the right to have people of limited girth occupy the next seat. And then, you could sell negative proximity to squalling babies. This is going to be a real fun five hours. Which way is the rant thread?
I had a lucky escape on Tuesday. I was checked in to 8A and on arriving at the row there was a couple in B & C, both skinny and so am I.  But on the lap of the young lady in B is one of those noise, vomit, noise, stinking emission and noise factories young couples are so fond of producing.
Fortunately as I'd stepped on board I'd heard a member of the team saying the fight was only half full so I just kept on  walking to the noisy rows and flipped the switch on my QC15 to LOUD.
Better for everyone.

Sitting around recovering from having a stranger lube her finger, probe my nethers and exterminate a couple of polyps.

An old chum of mine told us once about his colonoscopy experience at the US Naval base in Norfolk, Virginia.  As the probe went in, the proctologist let out a hearty cry of "Up periscope!"

I trust your rectal visitor was a little more genteel.

I had both ends explored during the same session, but as I was a private patient I was rendered unconscious so have no knowledge of the procedures, whether they did them simultaneously or sequentially and if the latter, which was carried out first and which subsequently, nor if they used the same equipment for both orifices or if different.

I do know that it all turned out to be for naught, which was a good outcome as far as I was concerned.

Glad of that.

What a dour occupation, though, to be shoving probes up people's posteriors 5 days a week.  I mentioned something of the sort to a urologist once, and he exclaimed "oh, but it's fascinating!"  To each his own.

Passing time while wait for my buddies to arrive and whisk me off to Gatwick airport for and early flight to Berlin. They’re due here at 02;30 so I figured there was no point in going to bed

Listening to the drunken zombies fail to launch a recycling bin into a trans-Mars injection orbit.  At least, that what it sounds like they were doing.

Can you imagine the state of the payload if milk floats could accelerate from 0-100km/hr in 3 seconds?  :o
