My son said he had Maps by Maroon 5 earwormed. I didn't know it, looked it up, then introduced him to the Jam and the Specials. I think we are both educated but not enrichened. He misheard A Message to You Rudy (the video for which features a man looking back then remarkably like my dad looks now :o) as A Message to Putin.  :D

Having finally evicted Bill Brad, Ozzy, Tony & Geezer I've now got Lou Reed's Endless Cycle on, er, endless cycle.  A more depressing ear worm is hard to imagine.

Bob Dylan's Series Of Dreams, specifically the version from "The Bootleg Series Vol. 8" on which the drummer is having to work hard for his BEER.

Having learned that Adam Ant is in the Rewind lineup for this year, this mornings commute (and working day so far) has been wormed by a medley of 'Kings Of The Wild Frontier'

Currently got a bit of operetta whose name I can't remember and whose lyrics I've never known, but it goes

Paddle-up pum pum
Paddle-up pum pum
Dah dah dah rrrrrah-dah, da daaaaaaaaaaaaaa

The parrot's got it now as well.
I've dusted off all those old bottles and set them up straight

David Bowie - Modern Love. All day.

As ear worms go, though, I really don't mind this one too much.

This has been getting a lot of airplay on 6music lately. Totally earwormtastic...

Floridada by Animal Collective - https://youtu.be/cuoIvNFUY7I

I can't decide if I actually like it or not but I can't get it out of my head and it's driving me nuts.

Perhaps I shouldn't have encouraged him by putting it in iTunes in the first place but DJ Random played "Rain" by Teh QUO yesterday and now I've got this relentless slab of heads-down no-nonsense mindless boogie going round and round and round and round and round and duh-duh-duh-duh-duh and

Work colleague mentioned Wang Chung at around 9.30 this morning

I've had Dance Hall Days running circles inside my brain ever since

If it doesn't switch off soon I may well go on a killing spree

I don't usually visit this thread but my partner and his aspie friend have been practising piano duets.

How much can anyone tolerate Pachelbel's Canon?

Does an hour constitute 'cruel and unusual punishment'?

HELP!!!!

Friend will be back here next Friday for more practise, prior to Event on Sunday 13th...
