Hmm...this morning I started off with a medley of ZZ Top guitar solos :)

Which somehow, and I wish I knew how, in order that I can prevent it recurring, became Big When I Was Little by Eliza Doolittle. :'(

I've just cycled about 30km with "Cheap Shitty Pink USB Charger From China" in my head.  This is suboptimal.

I have taken the precaution against that of not knowing the tune in question.

OTOH, I can recommend listening to a programme about Siouxsie & The Banshees before leaving home in the morning.  Hong Kong Garden!

I have taken the precaution against that of not knowing the tune in question.

It's one of Big Clive[1]'s creations, notable for not involving anything actually exploding or catching fire.  As well as functioning as a public safety announcement, it also answers the important question of what Kraftwerk would sound like if they were Glaswegian.

Do you wanna be in my gang?

Well, if it's all the same to you, Gary, I'd actually much rather not, now you come to mention it...

Would you rather touch him? Where? There?

A new Korean food place has opened over the road called On Bap and now I have a constant Hanson earworm.

Ooops! I spent part of breakfast explaining ear worms to the offspring (7 & 9) using the example of how I can still remember entire verses of Agadoo and the Spitting Image Chicken Song after 30- odd years....

Big mistake.  One might even say schoolboy error. Just kill me now.

DJ Random served up TEH QUO's "Gerdundula" the other day and I am starting to wish he hadn't.

I've got the Marble Machine tune in a loop in my head.  As earworms go it's not a bad one, but it was giving me dangerous ideas about the Orrery.

The other day, I set off on the bike just as Teletubbies started on the idiotlantern.  So I got that for much of my ride, but by Kidderminster, it had somehow morphed into Yeh Yeh by Georgie Fame & The Blue Flames*.  Then, by way of Yeye (of which I don't know many words, I had got to Je T'aime...Moi Non Plus before I had reached the hill to the station... :o

While driving in Scotland the music player played a track at random. I got tonnes of tracks on random best off and mixes, that I often never listen too and/or remember I got. This track tickled my grey cells and today I found the track that I have spent a good 20 years to find. Now and again a bit of the song popped up as an earworm and I knew nothing about other than the word Scot. Back in the mid 80's I remember we were on a school trip and we sang that a bit from it as we went to the candy store, as it gave a good echo in the valley.

I just found it and it is not anything near what I remember, I was sure it was a bit like Status Quo/ELO. But it is Italian disco/pop instead - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oorzwn4E5xc

It is just the first bit (the lalala bit) that used to go around my head for a day or two to only then bugger off and I couldn't recall again.
