Circuit of the Cotswolds
« on: 20 June, 2009, 03:43:37 pm »
Is anyone else doing this tomorrow? I've factored it in as some pre-July Etape preparation. I've not done it before, but am looking forward to getting some hilly miles covered in great countryside.

Is it me, or has my topic been moved here? I could've sworn I put it in 'Audax and Cyclosportive', but maybe it's been a long day.....  ???

It has been moved - it IS a Sportive!

For a another, new, nearby sportive this year have a look at   www.shakespeare100.org.uk  - 13 September

It's nice to know that I'm not going mad.

It certainly felt like a sportive today! It's a very tough route. I clocked 6 hrs 24 mins for the 103 miles. Went off far too fast and at the point I reckoned I must be over half way, I was dismayed to see I'd only done 32 miles  :o

Unsurprisingly I suffered quite a bit over the second half of the course.
