Yesterday I had a good look at OpenStreetMaps and decided I was missing out. I had a look in the local Cotswold Outdoor to find an etrex with a very nice discount and thought I'd have some of that. (BTW anyone interested in buying an old basic yellow etrex? It's the original without a high sensitivity receiver).
Anyway, today I was issued with a work phone. I actually asked for a cast off from someone who had been upgraded because I would hate to damage the smart phones they issue cycling too and from work.
Anyhow, it has Windows Mobile 6.1 and built in GPS receiver. (I'm a ludite with phones I warn you!). Anyway, that means I can put some GPS software on it and some OSM editing software on it and away I go, updating maps and adding features anywhere I go.
