arguable whether celebrity cheffing is entertainment or food, but I can still remember buying one of his books as a PSO.  His marmalade ice-cream is a superb invention.

Me too.

What caused the fall?
Epileptic fit probably.
There's no vibrations, but wait.

Perhaps he drank too much, who knows. And so what if he did?

I was reading a book recently about epilepsy and the brain doctor wot wrote it said that most people suffer an epileptic seizure at some point in their life.

But people fall over for lots of reasons and I've done it for most of them. Mostly we get up. Very occasionally we don't. Seemed a nice, personable chap when I used to watch him on the tellybox.

He had a motorcycle accident when he was young which damaged his brain somewhat.

The puerile would be looking for the obvious. "He was drunk, and fell over and banged his head"

No wonder his family want to keep things quiet. There can't be much worse than being related to someone famous who dies suddenly in an abrupt manner.

He was 59, and a renown chef; not exactly a famously substance/stress-free job. Chances are he had some kind of acute brain injury either inflicted from outside or within. Either way, he's dead. It's a shame - he was the same age as me.

Probably the first 'Rock Star' chef to hit the TV and, for me, the least annoying.
From what I have seen recently, he slipped in the shower and hit his head. There but for the grace...........

From what I have read he had been filming all day, but that said nothing about how the injury occurred.
