I'm off my bike for another 2 weeks, surgeons orders.

I'm supposing we won't be out at all, together anyway, by then. :(

Thanks jiber, I'm actually fine, I just don't want to break anything that's just been fixed.

I have my home help and personal carer to look after me and do the heavy jobs, cleaning, hoovering, washing etc.

So don't worry I'm staying cheerful at a difficult time. ;D

I'm WFH Wednesday, so am a probable, depending on Californians. It's a good hour home though, so will probably leave before closing.

I will be out to play this Wednesday, barring any coughs etc.

No more late shifts scheduled (other than audax rides).

Assuming I'm feeling well I might start commuting to work whilst I work from home, i.e. I'll get up early and ride a circular route too and from the back gate.

I'm not sure going down the gym is a good idea at the moment.  If I got it I don't want to spread it, if I haven't I don't want to catch it.

He's in the mountains living up to his name.

I’m trying to think what that name might be. ‘Snow plough”? “Beast from the East”? “Ted”? But nothing seems to fit.

I think a reference is being made to shredding which is something to do with winter sports. More than that I couldn’t tell you.

Once again our very own idiot savant has it right:

is a snippet of the movie that inspired the name - I prefer two skis though.

The years aren't kind to any of us, even 'fandango.  I hear on the grapevine that he's had cosmetic surgery hence can't come out to play.  Mind you I'm sure it'll be worth it and he'll be back soon looking lovelier than ever  :-*

I'm afraid it's true, I'm so vain, don't tell anyone, I've had a butt lift.

I'm now even cheekier! ;D

Oh well, looks like Wednesday might not happen. Latest guidance now recommends against non-essential contact and unnecessary travel.

Have they defined non-essential? They're unlikely to have met my kids.

Even if we're not going to a pub, I may just go for an isolationist, social-distancing, ride in any event.

As a misanthrope, this coronavirus is really starting to speak my language...

The pub is still open for now, thanks to our glorious leader who completely fudged our industry last night  >:(

And I see they’ve suspended the Audax season.
You can’t just call time out and stroll on into the beach if you don’t like the way things are goin’.

Completely agree Joss - an absolute joke of a statement, which single handedly knackers the hospitality and entertainment industries whilst protecting the insurance industry. Just hope that the government backs down on this and at least mandates closure.
